This was my first ever digital painting I did on my iPad. I like how this portrait of my friend Chantal turned out. When I was designing a logo for her company a few years back I started working on this portrait on paper. I promised her to colour it one day, and it took some years, but I finally did it.

I started drawing the portrait with pencil as I am used to. And I coloured the portrait digitally on my iPad. The Curly hair is inspired by Jugendstil and Art Nouveau. The colourful background pattern is inspired by Lebanese cuisine.
